Maximum Engine Protection
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 European Engine Oil surpasses the North American SAE and European ACEA oil specifications for high temperature/high shear (HTHS) viscosity. It does not shear back to a lower viscosity oil in the high temperature/high shear conditions of today's smaller, high RPM automobile engines. Mixing AMSOIL
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 European Engine Oil is compatible with conventional petroleum oils; however, AMSOIL mixed with conventional oils is not recommended for extended drain intervals. Engine oil additives or after-market products are not recommended for use with AMSOIL 5W-40.

Service Life
Use drain intervals according to the manufacturers' recommendations for synthetic motor oil.
